Who I am
Hi, I’m Shannon (she/her), a gentle soul who enjoys quiet moments in nature and sharing a laugh with the people I love. I’m a partner, mother, daughter, sister, and friend.
As a Registered Psychotherapist I bring a broad base of experience across community mental health, higher education and private practice. More than anything though, I offer a space that feels safe, warm, and collaborative, where your experience is seen, respected and valued.
I strive to live with growth, compassion, and integrity—helping people discover their potential, feel seen, and explore meaningful change.
Maybe you’ve landed here because something in your life isn’t working the way you want it to. You might be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or out of sync with your intentions. Therapy can offer a space to reflect, gain clarity, and find your own path forward, supported by someone who listens deeply and meets you where you are.

Therapeutic Experience
I have provided therapy in a variety of settings, supporting clients with trauma, life transitions, and personal growth. Early in my career, I worked in a community agency in Ottawa, offering individual therapy, trauma-focused care, intake assessments, and walk-in counselling across multiple locations.
I then served as a therapist in residence at Queen’s University in Kingston, supporting students’ mental health, and later became a Clinical Manager, where I led the opening of a walk-in counselling clinic, developed an internship program for psychotherapists, and continued providing trauma therapy.
Currently, I maintain my private practice where I provide integrative, individualized, exploratory and trauma-focused therapy. I also offer supervision, both for master’s-level students at St. Paul’s University and for other therapists in private practice, supporting therapists in developing and deepening their work.
Across all roles, my focus is on creating a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where folks feel seen, heard, and understood. Learning, growth, change and healing happen in safe spaces.
